Hello I am a 50 year old woman who has really felt the effects of COVID.  I was evicted from the home I lived in for 14 years because my mother wanted to sell the home, that was March of 2020.  I was unable to secure new living arrangements due to the pandemic and because my health took a drastic turn.

Back in 2017 I had a massive heart attack and had a cabbage done.  Employment has been hard to come by as I have had 4 additional heart attacks since 2017.

So my doctor and I had a conversation and decided the best thing I could do would be to apply for disability.  So reluctantly I did so.

I was surprised that my application was declined and that I would have to file an appeal.  Even more so when I was denied an additional 2 more times.  I finally have a hearing scheduled for March, however in the meantime I don’t know how I’m going to survive.

I have been out of work since Nov. 2023, and up until recently my mother was helping me pay the rent.  However, with her limited resources she is unable to continue to help.  I understand as it’s been over a year of paying all of my bills.

I have attempted to find part time employment to at least cover some of my bills, however with my health my doctor strongly disagrees with this decision.

As an added bonus my 2005 VW Passat has decided to give me a ton of problems, which in turn costs more money than I can even dream about at this point.

I don’t like being in this situation, I don’t like having to rely on others, I was a strong independent woman when I was younger.  I honestly don’t know what happened.
