​Hi everyone. I am writing this today because I am stuck in a difficult spot with my only computer, and I am completely out of options to replace it.

​For the last six years, since 2020, I have relied on a single HP Pavilion 15 for absolutely everything. It got me through a lot of long days, but the hardware is finally giving out completely. The battery is entirely dead, meaning the laptop shuts off instantly if the charging cable gets unplugged from the wall. The GPU is permanently broken, and the entire system runs incredibly slow on a daily basis. It has reached the point where it can barely open basic web browsers or applications, and trying to run any games or heavy software just results in immediate freezes and system crashes.

​I desperately need a reliable replacement. The specific machine I need to handle my daily tasks and run my games properly without lagging costs exactly $2,956. This is a massive amount of money, and my parents absolutely cannot afford it. They already work incredibly hard just to provide the basics for our household, and I refuse to put this heavy financial burden on their shoulders. They should not have to struggle, take on extra shifts, or sacrifice their own needs just to buy me a new computer.

​That is why I am stepping out of my comfort zone and asking for help directly from this community. I am trying to raise enough to buy a modern, high-performance gaming laptop. The reason the target cost is nearly $3,000 is because I need a system with a dedicated graphics card, heavy cooling, and enough system memory to actually last. Buying a cheap, low-end laptop now just means it will break or become entirely obsolete in a year or two. I want to invest in a durable machine that will last me another six or seven years, exactly like my old HP did before it broke down.

​I know $2,956 is a huge amount to ask for, and I know there are people on here dealing with much worse situations. But having a working, reliable computer is incredibly important to my daily life and my future. If anyone out there has the means to help, whether it is just a few dollars or a larger donation, it would change my situation entirely. It would completely take the financial pressure off my family and allow me to finally retire this broken HP Pavilion for good.
