I’m seeking financial help for rent and utilities. I am 47 and I have lymphedema. I was one of the few people born with it. I have always worked multiple jobs until two years ago.  It has become harder for me to work. So I decided to go back to school. I am majoring in Psychology. I will be starting my second year in the fall. I have made the dean’s list every semester. I currently have a 3.84 gpa. I have been door dashing and doing spark deliveries to get by. Between that and student loans I have managed well. Until recently. My van has some issues that make it hard to do deliveries. There’s no ac in the van and recently it’s been shaking real bad like I have a bad tire but the tires are good. I have not gotten it checked because I don’t have any money. I literally have $23. My lights are scheduled to be disconnected on the 22nd, my phone bill is also due the same day, and I’m behind on my rent. My landlord agreed to let me pay $200 a week until I get my school refund in Sept to catch up. However with the van giving me problems I don’t know how I can do that now. Oh and I did the stupid thing last summer and took out a title loan on the van. So they picked it up last month and I had to pay to get it back. That’s how I really got behind. I still owe them for this month so they will probably be picking it up again especially since I can’t use it to go out and make money. I know it’s a lot. It’s very overwhelming. At this point any help is appreciated. Even if it’s only a prayer.
