Short Story
I’m seeking financial to enter a rehab facility that allows me to bring my dog, Max, who has been by my side through my entire struggle with addiction. Max isn’t just a pet—he’s my emotional support, and being separated from him during this process would make recovery even harder. I’ve been through free programs before, but I need more personalized care, and the high-end facility that offers this is out of my reach financially. Any assistance would help me start a new chapter of healing, with Max by my side.

Story
A Journey of Healing for Both Me and My Dog
My name is michelle, and I am reaching out to ask for help during one of the most critical moments of my life. For years, I have struggled with addiction, a battle that has led me down many dark roads, including homelessness. Throughout this journey, there has been one constant source of comfort, love, and companionship—my dog, max. He has been by my side through the highs and lows, offering unconditional support when I had no one else to turn to. Today, as I make the brave decision to seek rehabilitation, I am asking for help to access a high-scale rehab facility where my beloved dog can come with me, and I can receive the one-on-one support that I desperately need.it is a very high price rehab and I have nothing.
Over the years, I have participated in numerous free rehab programs. While I am grateful for the services they provided, I have found that they have not been enough to address my deep-seated issues with addiction. The programs I attended were often overburdened and lacked the personal attention that is crucial for someone in my situation. I need a more intensive, tailored approach—one that can offer me the emotional, mental, and physical support required to truly overcome my addiction once and for all. Many high-scale rehab facilities provide this level of care, offering comprehensive one-on-one therapy, medical supervision, and emotional support that I have not been able to access elsewhere.
One of the biggest challenges I face in seeking rehab is my deep connection with my dog, max. He is not just a pet; he is my best friend and emotional anchor. We have both been through so much together, and I cannot imagine undergoing this difficult process without him. Many of the standard rehab programs do not allow pets, but there are high-end facilities that recognize the therapeutic benefits of allowing individuals to bring their animals. Being separated from him during my treatment would cause both of us unnecessary distress, and I worry that without his companionship, I may struggle to stay on track. My dog has been my constant through the worst of my addiction, and I believe he can be my strength through the recovery process as well.
Unfortunately, the type of rehab that offers this kind of personalized care and the option to bring a pet comes with a cost that I cannot afford. This is why I am asking for your help. I know that investing in my recovery is not just an investment in my own life but also in the life of my loyal companion. By receiving the right treatment, I believe I can finally break free from the cycle of addiction and rebuild a life that is healthy, stable, and meaningful—not just for myself, but for max as well.
I am committed to making this change, but I cannot do it alone. Any support you can offer to help me access a rehab program that will allow me to heal alongside my dog would mean the world to both of us. Together, I believe we can start a new chapter in our lives—one filled with hope, healing, and a future free from addiction.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering offering your support. I am ready to take this step and would be forever grateful for any help you can provide in making it possible.
Sincerely,
Michelle
