Raising Funds for college
Story
Esteemed community members, I am writing to you today regarding an outstanding balance of $240 resulting from a Pell Grant overpayment. This overpayment occurred due to the late withdrawal from several courses during a previous semester, which, regrettably, cannot be waived or overridden. As a result, I am currently unable to commence my classes and receive further financial aid. To address this, I am seeking financial assistance to settle the outstanding balance, as well as to acquire essential college supplies, including a backpack and a laptop. I currently reside in an independent living facility and do not have access to financial support from family or friends. Should you choose to contribute, I am happy to provide receipts for all purchases made. I ask you consider in helping me. If you need any proof of situation I’ll be happy to provide it.
