Hello, my name is Hannah Cooper. I am reaching out to all of you, because I truly idolize what you represent to the human race. This platform is amazing. Okay, where to start, I will be 32 in March, I am employed for a hospital in the small town I live in Randolph, Vermont. I am going into my 3rd year working there. I was born 2 months premature and with a major hole in my heart . The medicine they administered to me at birth ( to fix my heart) deteriorated one of my kidneys. For years, I blended in with everyone else, except having a child. I just figured with my health issues, it was never going to happen.

Fast forward a bit, Surprise ! I recently just got pregnant. Things couldn’t of been better for my fiancé, Steven, and I. Then we found out that my only kidney I had, was going into ” End Stage Kidney Failure “. I am about to start my 3rd trimester. The baby is doing amazing, my health is hanging on by a thread. Abortion was never an option. I could never do that. Because of the countless times I travel to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire to see my specialists, it is putting my fiance’s job in jeopardy and because of the times we live in, it is crushing us financially. Our insurance will only cover a fraction of what the dialysis and eventual transplant will cost. Of course, like most things, money talks and if you have the funds, things happen miraculously faster. I will be out of work for a minimum of a year with all the treatments I will be going through. My fiance will not be able to afford everything on his own. We have applied for personal loans. We are both just under the minimum credit requirements.

I am asking for help. First and foremost because I want to live to see my first and most definitely only child. My baby is a girl. We are going to name her Roma Annette. If Is there anything you could possibly help my family with. I would be beyond grateful. I am about to be tens thousands of dollars in major debt and risk losing my life, my job and my home. Baby Roma is expected due date is 3/27/25. Because of the chronic hypertension I am going through which could lead to preeclampsia and that will mean she is coming out much sooner. I will post pictures of our bundle of joy on here after she arrives. Thank you again to anyone who can help.
