I started the year with the passing of my mother back home in Thailand.

I was majorly depressed after the trip because I have not seen her in roughly 20 years and visited her in her last moments with stage 4 cancer.

It got to the point where after she has passed, I would randomly get flashbacks of her face.

I then turned to playing video games and in the last few months recently got into gambling on stocks to feel a rush to lift my mood or to not sit around being melancholic.

One thing led to another and I have gambled away all of my mortgage savings and taken out a loan I cannot afford.

I am currently living on borrowed time as my partner does not know I have ruined our future.

I am currently hitting rock bottom and any help would be appreciated.

I am currently very stressed and wished I never gambled my money away.
