Hello, my name is Penny and on March 15th, my dog Fuschia was attacked by another dog. She sustained several injuries and was rushed to the emergency vet immediately. When I got to the vet, I was told that they wanted to keep Fuschia overnight and that it would cost $6000. When I told them I had no way to get $6000, they then told me that she was going to need to get stitches. I was told that to give her stitches would cost me $2000+. Fuschia has several puncture wounds on her legs and the worst of which is on her front left arm pit. She can’t walk and due to loss of blood is severely lethargic. She won’t eat or drink and by the end of the vet visit, they didn’t even cover her wounds. They did absolutely nothing. I love Fuschia so much. I’ve had her since she was 5 weeks old and she is my world. Seeing her like this and how she was after she got hurt is tearing me apart. Shes such a good girl and I don’t know what else to do. Its a devastating feeling to feel helpless and like nobody cares at the same time. All I want is for Fuschia to get the care she needs, if anybody could please help. It would mean the world to us.
