- I’m a single mother of four little girls under age 8, and we are struggling to make ends meet. I was a housewife for the last 8 years so I have a lapse in job history which is proving it hard to find work now. I’m starting to panic as we have a shut-off notice on our utilities and an eviction notice on our door. I have reached out for state aid but there isn’t much that they can do to help. I am praying that there is someone out there with a heart this holiday season.
