Story
I am in the Appalachian/Blue Ridge Mountains of extreme southwestern Virginia. This is the one of the most poverty stricken areas in the United States. We are proud people and usually do not ask for help. I am desperate and truly need a helping hand.
Since November, my electric bill has been well over $450 each month, compared to normal bill of $160. This has caused me to fall behind and being unable to buy basic needs and food to sustain life. I do work full time, bills take every penny right now. I am just asking for a little help and I will be able to help others soon too. Thank you for any consideration.
