Story

Hi my name is Trey and I live with my brother Trevor in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. We both live together in my grandma’s house after she passed away last year. It is an older house that needs a lot of work and as of December 21st 2024 we were both laid off of our jobs. We are waiting on unemployment which we have not received yet and have been applying for jobs everyday but, nothing has came from them yet. The problems are piling up we still have electricity but we have no money for fuel to heat the house and it is -4°F outside today. Some pipes have broken from the water freezing in them so currently we have no water we can use either and have no money to fix any of the problems or for gas for our car or food in our stomachs. Trying to get a ride to a food pantry but so far no luck if you can help us at all I would be so grateful. I know this is only temporary and things will get better but right now my dog, brother and myself are cold and trying to get to a better warmer day. Thank You to all that read my post. God Bless
