Hello, my name is Gianela and right now I am 20 years old, about to turn 21.

We are a foreign family that currently lives in Spain, without papers and working in the black as we can. I am the older sister of two young children who go to school thanks to my mother who is able to pay their tuition and other expenses because she works all day, every day. My father is an absentee father who has been in and out of jail, and before that he only borrowed money from moneylenders for his vices, of which we have never seen a penny. He was recently released from prison, but we never heard from him again because he just disappeared, leaving behind a huge debt without a trace.

I am a university student, but since I have tried to work, I have not been able to continue because my studies prevent me from doing so. I was offered a scholarship to study where I am because we don’t have much money and I come from a humble family. Although I would like to work to help, I cannot lose the scholarship.

I just wanted to ask for some help with the money, since these lenders have been able to find us and threaten me and my mother, who have nothing to do with it, since all the responsibility is with my father, who has left us a debt of almost 4.000 €. I know it is very brave of me to ask for help, but I am desperate for the future of my siblings and family if we cannot pay any of it.
