Story
My name is Jasmine and I am a mother of four. I was a medical assistant but in 2021 I had my last baby girl, caught covid, went into heart failure, found out my husband was cheating, and lost my home. Complications from the pregnancy and stress caused my conditions to worsen and I was on Social Security and Disability. Â My certifications have expired so without returning to school, nursing is not an option and honestly, I’ve lost the passion. Insurance and being on the other side has tainted the medical field for me. I left my husband and moved into the slums of my city with my 15 yo son, 11, 7, and 3 yo daughters. In August, disability was abruptly discontinued and unfortunately, I have been unsuccessful at finding a job that can support us. I am delinquent on everything. My friends and family are maxed out along with bank accounts. Please help. I am in desperate need and this is my last resort.
