On October 2, 2025 at 1:50 am, I received a destress call from my only daughter phone. While she was in Nashville, TN dropping a friend off to family for schooling. They both were in tragic accident where I can hear her on the phone screaming about she can’t feel her legs. I was aware that she was in trouble and needed to get there ASAP. When I arrive after a four hour drive to see that she shatter her left foot, broke both legs including ankles along with memory loss. She had several surgeries and continued to watch until she can walk again. We were told that she was blessed because the car was totaled to the point we could have lost her. She was preparing to graduated from University of Saint Louis while she continued to show her capability to flourish at a early age. But to be told that she will have to start over to walk as well with some things in life. Depression set in but not her determination to continued regardless. We are asking for help when we applied for FMLA things didn’t go as plan and bills started to come in without proper pay from working.
