hey everyone! Let me start off by saying, this is my last ditch effort. I’m a 28 year old woman living in a completely different state than any of my family. I work two jobs already, and am barely making it by. My roommate is also living here, with all her family in another state. She’s in school and works, both full time.

our landlord was diagnosed with terminal cancer a few months back, we’re under lease until September. She told us that we’d be able to finish the lease out, but couldn’t renew due to the circumstances.. she can no longer afford the home.

well things have quickly escalated, with her daughter coming in the picture saying we must now be gone by may 20th. We do have a lease though, so we could fight this… but who wants to be the person fighting with somebody dying of cancer. cancer sucks!!!!

I don’t want to make the situation more difficult, but I can’t afford to move to a whole new home on such short notice. I have nobody to ask for financial help from. Please help me and my roommate. In a perfect world, we’d have the funds to keep the house kept up so the landlord wouldn’t have to worry. But, that’s not an option. I’m in desperate need of any support I can get! Please!
