My boss lied to me to block me from receiving my raise. She texted me, telling me I was getting a raise, and when I got back to work, she told me I wasn’t because of performance issues, which I immediately disagreed with. When I got HR involved, she gave me the raise back, and she still wanted me to sign a paper that basically said my performance wasn’t good enough, and I disagreed again, and I quit because by that point I didn’t feel secure in my position, and that was her whole goal. I knew she would retaliate against me for getting HR involved because she was already doing things to belittle me when I never did anything to her, so now she had a reason. I went above her; I went to HR; I even went to Kaiser, and they tried to put me on medication because nobody believed she would be doing this for no reason. I have documentation of everything. I’ve contacted a lawyer, and I’m suing Bay Area Community Services because they failed to believe me or take action against the abuse. Lawsuits can take a long time and I am in need of immediate assistance.
