oprofemdurable is a non-profit organization based in Benin, committed to the emancipation and defense of women’s and girls’ rights for the past 3 years. We have already carried out actions as part of “5 villages in 2024 awareness campaign”; awarded small grants to 30 women as part of our rural women’s empowerment activities.
We work in partnership with partners at various levels, such as social ministries, other local NGOs and traditional authorities.
I need support ($5,000) for a charitable activity. Here is the purpose of the funds allocated to me: Support for 50 women survivors of violence in Africa
Story
Every day in Africa, mainly in Benin, dozens of women suffer gender-based violence (GBV), whether domestic violence, sexual assault or forced marriage. This violence shatters lives, destroys families and holds back the development of entire communities.
Our NGO, oprofemdurable, has been working with other civil society organizations for 3 years to protect and support these women. Today, we want to go even further: to provide direct support to 50 women victims of GBV, in order to restore their dignity and help them rebuild their lives.
