Hello,

My name is LaRena Darrow, I would like your help to get my dog Nikko registered as my emo baby (emotional support dog), I’ve had Nikko since he was 5 weeks old, I had gotten Nikko because the fur baby I had before him had to be euthanized due to heart worms, his name was Bubba J but I called him horse. Nikko has been the best friend he can possibly be, he has also been my life saving emotional support since my baby girl was killed in October 2023. He has been the support that has given me the comfort I needed when I was crying because I miss my baby girl, he’s been the one that makes me laugh, he’s been the one that has been that warm body in bed when I can’t seem to get out of it no matter how long I’m there, he’s right there beside me just as happy as he can be. I need him to register so I can go to a treatment facility to learn how to truly begin my life. I have struggled with mental health issues my whole adult life and I have finally answered the call to serve my higher purpose, to help sex trafficking victims and their families. I know there is an army out here of us doing his work, I am asking for your help to achieve my goal, I need Nikko registered as well as a storage unit for a month and any extra money will go towards the rent on an apartment when I leave the facility. I know it’s Christmas time and times are tough for everyone; I feel guilty for asking but I sincerely need some help, it’s hard enough to ask since I really don’t deserve the help as much as some others, but any donations would be greatly appreciated and would truly be saving my life. The life I know I am worthy of having, the life that helps mothers not feel the pain I feel, the life where I don’t have to be scared every day of the what ifs in life. I am a full-time student at Bryant & Stratton online university and have been getting my certifications in Peer Recovery Support and have volunteered with the Guardian Group to help combat human trafficking in the place we all call home and help the thousands of victims that are impacted each day because of this horrendous crime. I am also a published poet who has been published multiple times for the poetry I write, I don’t have much to offer other than the promise to include the kindhearted people who will help me in a poem especially written for each donor, as well as the actions behind my words I will finish with, I will prove that the donations you have provided will shine a light so brightly in such dark skies for not only me but the survivors I help in my future as well.
