PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi everyone. I am currently going through a Hurricane. Hurricane Milton. It is very devastating. The news said it was the most destructive hurricane in US history. It is calm right now but we have been dealing with tornadoes all day and very strong winds and rain. The eye of the hurricane will be hitting us in the next hour. I have huge pine trees that ripped right out of the ground and fell in my yard, Our trees in our yard are all destroyed, I keep hearing metal flying around hitting stuff in my yard. Our roads are dirt roads and they are flooded and we are trapped in our yards until it goes down and previous times it has taken weeks for that to happen. We used all our money buying fuel for the vehicles and might have enough for the generator for 2 days. All the stores are out of fuel, food, drinks. Every store is now closed but when they open they wont have anything on the shelves. There is no funding to help any of us and they are not giving out food stamp cards like before. We will probably be out of power for 1-2 weeks at the least. The worst of it is still to come. This is very scary. I am in a mobile home as well. We have no groceries because we haven’t had the money to buy any ahead of time. I don’t know where else to turn. My family is also struggling. We all spent a lot of money prepping for hurricane Helene and by the time hurricane Milton got here we had nothing left. Also there is another hurricane right behind this one that we may be getting hit with as well. That would be 3 hurricanes in less then 2 weeks.
