Story

My name is [Ember Grey], and I’m a 50-year-old woman who has seen more hardship in the past few years than I ever imagined possible. Life was once stable, but everything changed after I suffered a stroke. The stroke not only took a toll on my health but also led to the loss of two homes to foreclosure, stripping me of the stability and security I once had.

Adding to the heartbreak, my husband has been unfaithful, and despite my health struggles, he refuses to support me with even the basic necessitities as in leaving me in the dark woods at night or going without something to drink on 100 degree days.

Without a car, I’ve been unable to consistently attend my medical appointments, which are crucial for my recovery. For the past two years, I’ve been living in a tent, bathing in a river and battling the elements and grappling with the overwhelming despair that has become a constant companion.

I want to leave my husband and start over, but I need help to make that happen. A car would mean everything to me—it would give me the freedom to get to my doctors, to find work, and to begin rebuilding my life. I also need clothes, shelter, and any support that can help me rise above these challenges.

The depression I’ve been facing feels insurmountable at times, but I know that with a little help, I can find my way back. I can begin to heal, both physically and emotionally. Any support, whether it’s a kind word, a helping hand, or assistance with housing and transportation, would be a lifeline in these dark times. If anyone needs proof of my situation i can provide it or you can come in person and camp out in my world with me. It kinda grows on ya but I wish for happiness and some heat to keep warm by this winter. Anyways Ty for looking and helping or not, sure was nice to just vent to someone .
