I’m a 38 yr old mom of an 8 yr old little girl with autism and ADHD. Her father and I recently separated after 12 years. We are unable to get child support due to the 50/50 custody arrangement, and we were recently evicted from our home. We are staying with friends for now. I need to get my license renewed as well as my social and birth certificate to get a job. Our car was also stolen 3 months ago. They did recover it and went to do fingerprints/forensics on it, and when I went to pick it up from the impound lot they wanted 2500.00, so we lost our car also. Anything anyone can donate in order for me to renew my license and get my other documents would be amazing! You can get a free renewal, but u have to be in a homeless shelter. Any other help toward a security deposit/first and last months rent for an apartment/house and/or car would also be so greatly appreciated. I never thought this moment would happen, but here we are. I feel like I failed my child because I should’ve seen this coming, or been prepared, but I wasn’t, and I didn’t. Thank you for reading!
