Hi, my name is Diamond. I’m a mother of two children — a 1-year-old and a 7-year-old — and I’m doing everything I can to build a better and more stable future for them. I was recently accepted into a nursing program, and this is truly the start of a new chapter for my family.

I’ve worked hard to get here, and I’m finally approved to begin. But before I can start my first semester, I have several expenses I have to cover on my own:

• 📘 Books & required course materials
• 👕 Uniforms & nursing shoes
• 🔍 Background check & drug screening fees
• 🩺 Basic supplies (stethoscope, watch, binder, clinical tools)
• 💻 School fees & first-semester costs

Altogether, my first-semester needs come to about $1,000.

As a single mom with two little ones, this amount is more than I can manage alone right now. I don’t have family support, and asking strangers for help is not easy — but I’m doing it because my children deserve to have a mother who can provide them with stability, opportunity, and a better life.

This nursing program will allow me to build a career, support my kids fully, and break cycles that I grew up in. I am committed, passionate, and ready to work hard — I just need help getting started.
