Help with financial needs
Story
My name is Ebony, I’m currently 24 years old. In 2019 I had my second child. My side of the family had an extremely hard year. I unexpectedly took on the care of my 4 siblings at just 19. Whilst being in the thick of it for over a year and a half getting them all onto my Centrelink, all the big changes from moving schools, getting ourselves our own home big enough to suit our family of 7 everything turned out great and we wouldn’t picture it ANY other way. However with inflation just about everyone I know is struggling and that’s just one word for it at the moment. We are really struggling to make ends meet at the moment. It’s so tough. Even just speaking it aloud. The money I’m currently earning is quite literally not enough to live in this home any longer. Once rent is payed, our fortnightly arrangement bills such as electricity (which we are currently $8,000 in debt for) water, phone bill etc we barely have enough to complete our food shop let alone extras for our family. It’s seeming almost impossible at the moment for any type of savings for things, special occasions, birthdays etc. I guess I’m just coming on here in hopes to come across someone who is doing much better than us I don’t know, anyone who can help in any way please know it will be more than appreciated. – signed a Mother & Guardian just trying to make ends meet more comfortably.
