Help! Pops get a Leg
Story
Hello, My name is Fred. I’am a 72 year old man that was still working until 3 months ago. I was working the Hurricane in Texas, because they needed a lot of help. While I was in Texas, I obtained a blood clot in my calf. The surgeon tried to bypass the clot. That procedure was unsuccessful, so the surgeon had to amputate below my knee. I then got an infection at the rehabilitation center. This caused me to get an amputation above the knee. I have not been able to work and my son-in-law has had to close his tattoo shop to help me. Due to Medicare not paying for home health or anymore rehabilitation. Yesterday My son-in-law took me to see my surgeon, which he said I could start with a shrinker then get a prosthesis. The company that will provide this told me that the leg will cost 38,000 dollars. I was not able to help with the Hurricane in Florida due to not having my prosthesis. I cant work and my family are unable to run their business until am able to get my prosthesis . I am asking if someone can reach out with any assistance to help me get my leg. If I am able to get my leg, I will be able to go back to work and my son-in-law will be able to open his studio back up. Thank you so very Much.
