I have suffered from major depression for over 17 years, since I was 15. The brain drain is real but I had learnt to live with it.

Unfortunately life happened and a bunch of things in succession made it almost impossible for me to get out of bed most days, when it used to be a bad day here and there that I had coping mechanisms to get through it.

My mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer and I became her main carer, I was screwed over by an ex and stuck with so much debt that I had to go on a debt agreement so currently I can’t borrow from banks, and then I was drugged and sexually assaulted.

Due to all of this my mind shut down. I have a part time job but take a lot of unpaid leave due to my mum’s health or my own.

I am asking for financial help as I am wanting to try and get my finances in order, afford a carer for mum and assist her ongoing health costs, be able to afford seeing someone to help with my clinical depression, and hopefully get back to work full time.
