Hello, my name is Walisson, and I’m reaching out to share my story and ask for your help during one of the most important moments of my life.

I’ve been accepted to study Economics at University of São Paulo, one of the top 100 universities in the world — a dream opportunity that I earned through hard work and dedication. The university covers my tuition, but moving to São Paulo city, the most expensive in whole Brazil, without financial support from my family is a huge challenge.

My family comes from an extremely poor background, and instead of relying on them, I’ve been the one supporting them financially whenever possible. Despite these difficulties, I managed to finish high school, get accepted to this prestigious institution, and pay off most of my debts. But now, I face a critical hurdle: I need help to cover my first month’s living expenses until my application for student housing is processed.

Without this initial support, my chance to study at this world-class university — and change my life and my family’s future — could slip away.
