Hi everyone,

My name is Lois Osede, an 18-year-old from Lagos, Nigeria. I’m reaching out today to ask for your help in achieving my lifelong dream of attending college in the United States.

Education has always been incredibly important to me. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, my path to higher learning has been filled with challenges. Three years ago, my father, who promised to support my education in the USA, lost his job. This devastating event forced us to prioritize his health and well-being, leaving little to nothing for my education.

Despite the hardship, I persisted. Unfortunately, I couldn’t afford to participate in my high school graduation ceremony – a memory that still stings. Determined not to let these obstacles define me, I focused on getting back on track.

After applying to multiple colleges in the USA, I was thrilled to have been considered for Bethany Lutheran College.However, due to late application and financial constraints, I couldn’t secure a place for the fall semester. Now, my focus is on the Spring 2025 program.

Here’s where I need your help:

* **Bank Statements:** Unfortunately, I cannot provide the required bank statements due to limited financial resources.
* **Duolingo Exam:** I desperately want to take the Duolingo exam, which is mandatory for admission, but lack the funds.

Any contribution, big or small, will bring me one step closer to achieving my dream. I’m determined to work hard and make the most of this incredible opportunity.
