I’m reaching out with a pressing issue and I hope that someone can offer some guidance or assistance.

Recently, my car was stolen and subsequently impounded when it was recovered. This has been an incredibly difficult time for me, as I’ve been struggling to get back on my feet since my husband passed away in 2018. I’m facing a significant financial burden right now, and the added expense of retrieving my car from impound is creating a severe strain on my already tight budget.

The cost to retrieve my vehicle is substantial and, if I  pay it, I fear that it could jeopardize my housing situation. I am trying my best to stay afloat and maintain stability, but this unforeseen setback is putting me at risk of losing everything I’ve worked so hard to hold onto. To make matters worse, my workplace is located about 30 minutes away from my home. Without my car, commuting to work has become an enormous challenge. I’ve been managing with alternative transportation options, but they are neither reliable nor cost-effective, further exacerbating my situation.
