Story

My name is Mapalo, and I’m a 19-year-old law student at the University of Lusaka. Studying law has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I believe in justice, fairness, and making a difference in my community, especially when it comes to labor rights. But right now, I’m facing one of the hardest moments in my journey—trying to stay in school.

Coming from a background where finances have always been tight, I’ve managed to push forward with determination. But now, with rising tuition fees and the cost of essentials, I fear that my dreams might slip away. I don’t want to give up on my education or the impact I want to make for others in the future.
