Hello, my name is Erica, and I’m a mother of two doing everything I can to keep my family stable. Recently, things have taken a very hard turn for us.

A few weeks ago, my car was stolen and completely wrecked. It was declared a total loss, and now I have no transportation at all. This car was how I got to work, took my children where they needed to go, and handled our daily life. Since losing it, everything has become a struggle.

To make things worse, my job has been laying people off, and without transportation, I am at risk of losing my income completely. I’m trying to find a new job, but I can’t do that without a reliable way to get around. I am scared, overwhelmed, and trying my best to stay strong for my children.

I am asking for help to raise funds to get a used car so I can:

• Keep working
• Stay independent
• Get my children where they need to be
• Move forward without falling into a deeper financial hole

I don’t like asking for help, but right now I don’t have any other option. Any amount—big or small—would be a blessing to us. Your kindness will directly help me get back on my feet and provide a stable life for my kids again.
