Hi everyone,
I’m turning 38 on October 28th, and I’m reaching out with a vulnerable ask. This year has been harder than I expected, and I’d love to celebrate my birthday with something small—like a slice of cake, a movie rental, or just a quiet coffee shop treat.
I set up a Venmo (@tcastor87) hoping a few friends or kind strangers might chip in even $1 or $2 to help me hit my modest goal of maybe a nice steak dinner for my wife and I. So far, only one person has donated, and I’m worried the day will pass without any celebration at all.
