Hello, my name is Nonceba Matroos. I am an aspiring software engineer from South Africa who has just been awarded a life-changing software engineering scholarship. Unfortunately, I recently lost my laptop—the essential tool for my studies. Without it, I am unable to participate in the scholarship program that could open doors for my future.

I’m reaching out to you for support in raising funds for a new laptop so I can continue my journey toward becoming a software engineer.

Since I was young, I’ve always been passionate about technology. Growing up in Soweto, I saw how powerful it could be to have access to knowledge and skills that could help improve my community. When I earned a scholarship for software engineering, I felt like my dreams were within reach, and I was ready to take the next step toward building a better future for myself and others.

However, just as I was preparing to start the program, tragedy struck. My laptop, which is my main resource for learning and coding, was stolen. Without it, I am unable to complete assignments, attend virtual lessons, or practice the skills needed to thrive in this program. Losing my laptop has put my education on hold, and my financial situation doesn’t allow me to replace it.

Time is of the essence. The scholarship program has already begun, and every day I’m falling behind. I’m determined to succeed, but without the proper tools, my progress is stalled. Your help can ensure I don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity.With this, I can get back to coding, attending lessons, and fulfilling the requirements of my scholarship. Every contribution brings me closer to continuing my education and achieving my dream of becoming a software engineer.
