My partner and I have had a lot of losses and hardships this year. When we first were getting to know each other back in November both of us had just got out of financially and physically abusive relationship. We both lost over half of our belongings as well as both of us not having any kind of money because of the financial abuse and having to start all over again by having to replace certain necessities. It’s been a struggle to try to scrounge up money for us to simply be able to eat once a day. On top of not having enough money for groceries and we haven’t be able to afford other essentials such as shampoo, toothpaste, medications, etc. My partner and I have sold almost everything we could to have money for food and gas. My social security card and birth certificate have been stolen and I haven’t been able to work because I have to get new copies of my documents. Our car had been broken down for 3-4 months and we just replaced the part we needed at home. Since we haven’t been able to work I need gas money to be able to replace my legal documents so I can work again.
