Today, she is battling kidney failure and undergoing dialysis, and I’ve taken on the role of her primary caregiver.

While this chapter of our lives is challenging, it has also deepened my resolve. I dream of continuing my education to create a better future not only for myself but for the woman who gave me everything. My ultimate goal is to move my grandmother back to Jamaica—her homeland—so she can spend her remaining years in peace and comfort, surrounded by the beauty and warmth she once knew.
