In Africa, to be precise Kenya there are communities that still force young girls to early marriages and female circumcision. I particularly originate from the maasai community and our culture still practices such terrible practices. I managed to get an education as a girl from that community and i am really willing to give back to my community. Of course i cannot do this without some assistance. Its been a burden so heavy in my heart seeing what girls from my community undergo, i wish to help them see the light and be powerful women in the world. I want to show them that life doesn’t have to end when they are forced into early marriages and some even lose their lives with female circumcision. I am sure someone in this forum will be touched and will be willing to assist me in this mission. God bless.
