Story

My dad fell down and broke his foot in several places October of 2024, he has been out of work for the last 7 months with 0 income as he works a commission based sales job. We recently received the unfortunate news that his surgery did not go well and that he would need an entire 8 months or more off work again or risk the possibility of losing his foot permanently. He is now being affected by Charcot Disease due to the improper timing/treatment for his foot.  He does not qualify/cannot afford traditional insurance to ease the burden and get the care that he needs, we are now facing the possibility that he will just have to live with a reduced quality of life and be unable to afford the surgery to have his foot fixed again. We spent everything we had when this happened and it has completely drained us financially. (I, His son) am posting this because I am working full time and trying to support him but I do not make enough to pay for all of his utilities, car payment, medications etc and take care of my own needs and my sons needs as a single father. We need a miracle right now and if even a chance that I can share this story and some generous soul out there would help us, words could never describe how grateful I would be. We are close to the possibility of having to sell the house to get my dad the care he needs because alongside his foot there are other issues medically that, I cannot afford. (I, the son, will take pictures of the xrays to show for proofs)
