Hi everyone…my name is Chrystyna and this campaign is for my 10 year old daughter, Hayden.

Around the country, children are going back to school for another great school year. Normally, children spend the first week learning the routine set for the year, meeting their teacher, meeting be classmates and reconnecting with friends from the previous year. My daughter, Hayden, spent the entire summer preparing for 5th grade. She was so excited to start this new adventure! Her excitement grew avec she discovered her favorite teacher would be her instructor for this school year. During the first week, her excitement turned into fear. Hayden, a student who enjoys helping others and learning everything she can about the universe (literally the universe- the galaxy, stars, planets, weather, etc), was attacked by another student from her classroom. She was encouraged by the other girls in her class to join for a walk around the playground during recess. Hayden was unaware that she was being set up. Upon reaching another area of the playground, a 5th grade boy from her class, attacked her from behind. Throwing her to the ground and punching her. The security video shows that was defenseless and frightened. This young man completely traumatized my daughter. She had to seek medical attention, leaving the hospital with a concussion, black eye, bruises on her arms and back and a severely sprained ankle. Her outlook on the school year has changed drastically – she no longer wants to go to school…a place that means so much to her.

We are seeking help to raise funds for a lawyer as we will be filling a lawsuit for the assult, distress, and loss of work.

Hayden doesn’t approve of bullying and always looks for a way to be a friend to those who need one. She is the go-to person within her school as she is always looking to help any teacher or staff member.

Hayden was let down but I will not let her be defeated! She will come out of this situation VICTORIOUS!
