My name is Ellyn, a mother of two young children. Earlier this year, my baby was diagnosed with duodenal atresia and needed surgery and a long stay in the NICU. The medical bills were very high, and I had to take loans and use all my business capital to save my child.
The financial strain, along with the stress of recovery, has affected my family life and marriage. Although my baby is now recovering, I am struggling to cover basic needs like rent, food, school fees, and restarting my small business.
