I’m reaching out in desperate need of emergency assistance as I navigate an incredibly difficult time. My previous roommate locked me out and stole all of my belongings, leaving me with nothing. Despite contacting the police, I’ve been told this is a civil matter and that I need to take it to court but I can’t afford the legal fees, nor can I replace what was taken from me. On top of that, I recently lost my job and suffered a massive asthma attack that put me in the ICU on a ventilator, fighting for my life. Now, I’m facing overwhelming medical bills along with basic living expenses I can’t cover. I’m asking for help from anyone with the ability and kindness to assist me in getting back on my feet. Any support, big or small, would mean the world to me in this time of crisis.
