Emergency move
Story
I’m a single mom, living in Virginia. My daughter is 5, and just started kindergarten at the school right across the street! She loves her new school and her new friends.
I am a recovery specialist who helps those who have substance use and mental health disorders.
Unfortunately, I too suffer from my mental health. I have bipolar ll, mixed with depression, which sometimes throws me into a manic/depressive episode. Some episodes will last a couple days, and some last weeks to months.
Currently going through one, and I just hit one month in 10 An episode. I go back to work in one week however I have not been able to acquire any PTO or FMLA or anything along those lines because I’m still in my probationary period With my job.
Here is the kicker…
I received a notice from my landlord, that they are selling the mobile home park that I live in. I rent. And they need me out by 11/07.
As it is, I have $0 in my account, including savings. I can’t get a loan I can’t get government assistance. I have tried everything under this sun. I am humbly asking for $2000-$4000 to be able to afford moving expenses, security deposits, and first months rent.
Please help me and my kiddo.
