Short Story

After losing my job post-COVID, I started a business—only for it to be destroyed in Kenya’s 2024 riots. Now, with no savings and facing eviction, I urgently need help to cover rent, basic needs, and a fresh start. Any support, big or small, will save me from homelessness and give me a chance to rebuild. Please donate or share—your kindness is my lifeline. Thank you.

Story

My Name is Jessica Omondi, and I’m Fighting to Survive.

The last few years have broken me in ways I never thought possible:

  • Lost my job during COVID-19 and struggled for years.

  • Started a small business to rebuild—only for it to be completely looted in the 2024 Gen Z riots in Kenya.

  • Now, I’m back at zero, with no savings, rent arrears, and facing eviction.

I’ve tried everything—networking, side jobs, selling belongings—but it’s not enough. Without urgent help, I will be homeless.

What I Need:

I’m humbly asking for financial support to:

  • Pay my rent arrears ($1000) to stop eviction.

  • Buy basic necessities (food, toiletries, transport).

  • Restart a small business (even a micro-venture to regain independence).

Why Your Help Matters:

  • No amount is too small—even $1 gets me closer to safety.

  • I’m not looking for long-term dependency—just a bridge to survive and restart.

  • Your kindness could literally save my life.

How You Can Help:

  1. Donate Now – Every dollar brings me closer to stability.

  2. Share This Campaign – Spread the word via WhatsApp, X (Twitter), or Facebook.

  3. Pray for Me – If you can’t give, your encouragement means the world.

I promise to pay this forward once I’m back on my feet. Thank you for being my miracle. 🙏
