Hello, first of all my name is Innocent or Mr Mwasi a college lecturer in Finance and Accounting units. I am so passionate about my job i.e. imparting students with basic finance and accounting skills with a 90% pass rate! Currently one of the highest where I teach at Voi, Taita Taveta National Polytechnic. My secret has always been social media where I leverage sites like whatsapp and zoom to teach my students where we form groups and they can share questions and I work out the answers and share with them on the platform (whatsapp group in this case) for everyone to see and take note. It works like magic for me as I get to reach out to a huge number of students and help them effectively and even get to ask questions that they feel uncomfortable asking in class. It helps me be really in touch with my students financial and accounting subjects needs. Recently my smartphone got stolen and have been trying to get a new one to be in touch with my students as they prepare for their exams but been having a challenge fundraising. So looking to fundraise $260 to get myself a new smartphone to help my students as exams commence n 20th of March 2025. Well they sit for their Finance and Accounting papers the following week so wanted to revise and be there for them over the weekend. I will appreciate any help I will get as my smartphone was the best to get in touch with the majority of them and I am kind of crippled without it currently. Though I reported the mater and the police are following it up. Regards and will appreciate. Kindly let’s help these kinds pass their exams and it will be unfortunate just to sit back and do nothing.
