I’m Jessalyn, just a 17-year-old trying to survive. I got kicked out of my home for no reason and now I’m struggling, really struggling. I’m still in school, trying my best to focus and do great, but my world feels like it’s crumbling. The holidays were brutal; I got laid off from my job right when I needed it most, and finding another one feels impossible right now. I have absolutely no money, I’m hungry, and most importantly, I need $2,800 to finish fixing my car—my only way to work and school. Every day is just about making it to the next, hoping something gives.
