Story

So I’ve never had debt or filed bankruptcy in my life. Unfortunately over the last 5 years, life has continually thrown me curve balls.  The pandemic, Hurricane Ida damaged 95% of our home. Hurricane Francine damaged it more. To this day we are still repairing. My wife’s son has 2 young children and we have had to help with their needs. We still take care of my wife’s 91 year old mom.  I found myself slowly needing credit cards to both finance our needs and the needs of the extended family. To date I am at 63000.00 in debt. I don’t use any credit cards anymore. I am repairing our house through the Louisiana restore program. The money receive gets paid when the work is done. So we spend money to do repairs, to get some money back to do more repairs. 2 of the credit card companies have filed civil suits against me. So really I’m at my wits end point.  I’d like to get an unsecured loan, as the only asset I have is the house and I don’t want to lose that.  I always believe everything works out in the end, whether I get help from a stranger or a windfall just finds it way to me.  Everything I claim can be verified. This is my first time asking publicly for help and a friend told me about this site. So you can help, my blessings will be with you!.
