Story
I’m just a college student trying to make it on my own.
The eviction notice is still taped to my door. I have until the end of the week to come up with $1,000, or I’m out.
I’ve tried everything—extra shifts, selling my stuff, even plasma donations. Nothing’s enough. My parents can’t help, and my friends are just as broke as I am.
I should be focused on school, but all I can think about is where I’ll sleep if I lose this place. Five days. A thousand dollars. No safety net.
I don’t know what to do.
