Greetings from the House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church to you. My names are Prophet Michael Olatunji Johnson, the Founder and General Overseer of the House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church, 7 Ogo Oluwa Street, Ipaja, Lagos, Nigeria.  We hope this letter finds you in the spirit of the upcoming holiday season. Christmas season is coming. it is one of the most grandiose occasions of the calendar year in the entire world.  And for this special events preparation, it brings joy and happiness to the hearts of everyone.  It reminds us of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and it is a season of giving, sharing and forgiving. The House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church will celebrate their Christmas Party on Monday, December 23^rd, 2024. We are reaching out to you to join hands together for a noble cause, a Christmas Party for the less fortunate kids in our community to spread joy and happiness during this festive season.

Our organization care for less privilege children and the needy families around us. We take care of the orphan children and provide them with shelter and all the necessities including primary education. This year our organization has extended its wings and we have adopted 36 more orphan children. We provide food, clothes, and education to these less fortunate children.

We have a special purpose and a great desire to make a difference in Ipaja community. Christmas is a time of year full of joy, love, and solidarity. It is a time when families come together, exchange gifts, and share special moments. Unfortunately, not all children in the world can experience this Christmas season. We humbly ask for your participation as a sponsor for this event. Your generous contribution will be utilized for meals, gifts, and entertainment for the underprivileged children in our community. We are hoping to create a memorable day fill with joyful moments for them. Your support will make a significant difference in the lives of these children.

The House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church is a Faith-based organization. The House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church was founded on Sunday, January 2^nd, 2000 as a non-governmental organization legally registered in the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the Corporate Affairs Commission, on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 (Registration Number 181133 / Tax Identification Number 25199238). The House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church is a full gospel church and the church is non-denominational. We serve all people regardless of faith, ethnicity or gender. We serve to empower people to be self-sufficient, to build strong families and to be a force of good in the community. As an institution in the community, the church has the responsibility of contributing to the social development in the community.

The community surrounding the city has high levels of poverty, and the church is charged with the responsibility of not only spiritually nourishing the individuals, but also providing social and economic support. To help the church leadership achieve some of its objectives, an initiative has been developed aimed at supporting the poor children in the community during the Christmas season as well as buying groceries to their families.

The main aim of the event is to obtain funds to buy Christmas gifts for poor children in the community, where the church is located. The event aims at improving the life standards of the poor individuals in the community through economic empowerment and providing support towards development projects in the community. The Christmas party entails preparation, planning, development and arrangement. An event committee has been instituted to see the occasion through to completion, consisting of individuals of diverse professional and academic background.

In our community, many children and families face economic difficulties that prevent them from celebrating Christmas in the same way as others. Many of these children are unable to enjoy the gifts, festive foods, and decorations that make this season so special. As a committed member of this community, we believe that all children deserve to experience the joy of Christmas.

Similarly, there are children from very noble backgrounds within the community as well as those whose parents are not available. Providing Christmas gifts to such children will help improve their lifestyles. There are programs to provide aid instruments to children identified with some disabilities.

The project will involve provision of gifts to poor children in the community. Thus, one of the fundamental benefits of the project is economic empowerment of underprivileged individuals in the community. Indeed, the lives of the poor children who will be recipient of such gifts will be improved significantly.

That is why we are organizing a Christmas party to benefit the children of Ipaja community. We want to give the children a day full of fun, gifts, delicious food, and joy. We want the Christmas spirit at its best and we believe that together we can make it possible.

To carry out this wonderful Christmas party project, we need the help of generous people like you. We are looking for assistance, any contribution, big or small, will be appreciated and will make a significant difference in the lives of these children.

Christmas is approaching and we are also preparing to buy gifts for the children who live in Ipaja community. It is a special village for orphans and children who cannot live with their parents for reasons of social risk. Our goal is to make them feel the Christmas spirit and be surrounded by caring people. Isn’t it a great way to show them we care by preparing special gifts and delicious food for them?

It has become our tradition to raise funds for the Christmas holidays for our Community, It is our personal initiative to raise money for the gifts. We were surprised at the number of people who showed kindness and participated in our last project. Two years ago, we managed to buy a high quality gifts for everyone, last year a ping pong table and gifts. This year we plan to help equip Ipaja community music room with high quality musical instruments (Guitar, Violin, Yahama 5 Piece Drum Set, Piano, Trumpet, and Electronic Keyboard) where children can enjoy their musical experiences!!!

We would be happy to receive any help. We will take care of purchasing and distributing the gifts ourselves. After the Christmas party, we will publish photos of the gifts that we buy with the money raised. Together, we can bring so much happiness to children deprived of their families.

What Are The Funds For?

A small gift of $25.00 (Twenty-five dollars) will help provide a meal and Christmas gifts for 5 less privileged children in our community.

A small gift of $50.00 (Fifty dollars) will help provide a meal and Christmas gifts for 10 less privileged children in our community.

A small gift of $100.00 (One hundred dollars) will help provide a meal and Christmas gifts for 20 less privileged children in our community.

A small gift of $150.00 (One hundred dollars) will help provide cake, juice, assorted biscuits and Christmas party decorations and Christmas gifts for 25 less privileged children in our community.

A small gift of $200.00 (Two hundred dollars) will help provide food, snack, and assorted drinks (non-alcoholic drinks) meal and Christmas gifts for 30 less privileged children in our community.

A small gift of $2,000.00 (Two thousand dollars) will help provide food, cake, juice, assorted biscuits and Christmas decorations, 18 preparation and recipes of delicious foods booklets (free booklets), snack, soft drinks and non-alcoholic beverages and Christmas gifts for 100 less privileged children, friends, classmates, school teachers and well-wishers in our community.

A small gift of $1,500.00 ($1, 500 dollars) will help to equip our community music room where children can enjoy their musical experiences!!!

This year we plan to help to equip our Ipaja Community Music Room with high quality musical instruments where less privileged children can enjoy their musical experiences!!!

  The Impact Of Your Gift

Your gift will benefit the poor children in the community around our church establishment. The Christmas gifts are intended for needy children in the community, both boys and girls. The Christmas gifts to be presented to the less privileged children include high quality modern products like Ugg Boots, Ugg slippers and Ugg shoes, Perplexus 3-D Puzzle Ball, Christmas Santa Rag Dolls, Toy, and melodious instruments like Shoenhut Melodica among many others. Greater advantages will be given to orphan children and those living with disabilities. In fact, a special pack of gifts like reading and walking aids will be provided to the identified children with disabilities.

This small gesture of solidarity has a huge impact for the children of the orphanage, they feel love and, more importantly, enjoy a Christmas despite their difficult situation. Christmas party for less privileged Children are the most enjoyable days for kids. People organize get-togethers and parties with family and friends to celebrate the occasion. In addition, there are refreshments, entertainment programmes, and many other arrangements to make a child feel happy and special on Christmas day. Regardless of the amount, your gift will make a huge difference and we will be forever thankful.

There are several parentless and homeless children in the community. Even though a committee has been set up that carries out the planning and execution of the event, the event will be successful every individual volunteer will serve in whatever capacity that may be necessary. All members of the church including me will be in the forefront providing a close watch on the operations to see the event is success. Our commitment has always been towards the betterment of our community, and we strive to make a significant impact.
