At Everyone Deserves Better Foundation (EDB), we believe that change doesn’t start with governments or grand promises—it begins with us. With you. With every small act of kindness that sparks a wave of dignity, hope, and opportunity for those who’ve been left behind.

The “Better Begins With Us” campaign is our rallying cry- a call to action to create meaningful change in vulnerable communities across Kenya. From informal settlements to rural villages, far too many people face daily risks to their safety, health, and livelihoods, simply because the systems meant to protect them are either broken or absent.

We’re on a mission to change that.

Through this campaign, we aim to raise the resources needed to:

Map and document hidden risks in marginalized communities using data and local voices.

Train community leaders on risk awareness, preparedness, and protection strategies.

Provide practical tools—like clean water access, safety equipment, and educational materials—that reduce everyday dangers.

Amplify stories of resilience to influence policy and attract long-term solutions.

But we can’t do this alone.
