Ava is my 15 year old granddaughter, she started getting sick at 12 years old. She has been diagnosed with
End stage renal disease, Anemia due to end stage renal disease, Parathyroid hormone excess, Seizure disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Thrombophilia, Hypertension, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Disease of lung, Restrictive lung Disease, Steroid Resistant Nephrotic Syndrome, Epilepsy, leaky mitral heart valve, Malformation of coronary vessels, congenital anomaly of heart valve, Enlarged aorta, Hypertensive Chronic kidney disease stage 5, Heart failure due to high blood pressure, acute lung anemia, Extreme Hospital PTSD
As you can see she desperately needs a Kidney transplant! We have faced many obstacles trying to get Ava on the transplant list! The most difficult thing is because we do not have permanent housing. When Ava was on life support/Ecmo machine, our landlord in Indiana evicted us and we lost everything except the things we took with us to Riley’s Children Hospital in Indianapolis. We have been trying to get Ava on the transplant list for 4 years. I am on disability so I am limited on finding a place with rent as high as it is.
I need help with obtaining a home for us. Anything will help. Thank you so much in advance
