Artistic Pursuit Dance Company
Story
Artistic Pursuit is owned by Ashley Payne. She purchased the dance studio 4 years ago – before it was known as Center for Dance. Anyone can take classes at Artistic Pursuit no matter what skill level (beginner to teacher of dance/fitness).
It is a privilege to be chosen to be on the company teams. Most of the company dancers have been dancing in Westmont since age 2 or 3. Others have come from other studios and some have come from dancing on their school teams. They have intensives, requirements for minimum classes/hours in the studio as well as 2 auditions to be part of the dance company. There are 3 levels within the company – Petite, Regional & National.
For the 2024/25 season the National Company Dancers are going to compete in St Louis & then 3 in the Greater Chicagoland area. To end the dancing season the team will be going to Nationals in Tennessee to compete June 29th through July 5th, 2025.

We are doing a few events that gift cards or gift baskets & gift basket items would work as well — a silent auction in November 2024 and a Spring T-Shirt Creation Competition & Sale for the Nationals week in March/April 2025.
