Artistic Pursuit is owned by Ashley Payne. She purchased the dance studio 4 years ago – before it was known as Center for Dance. Anyone can take classes at Artistic Pursuit no matter what skill level (beginner to teacher of dance/fitness).

It is a privilege to be chosen to be on the company teams. Most of the company dancers have been dancing in Westmont since age 2 or 3. Others have come from other studios and some have come from dancing on their school teams. They have intensives, requirements for minimum classes/hours in the studio as well as 2 auditions to be part of the dance company. There are 3 levels within the company – Petite, Regional & National.

For the 2024/25 season the National Company Dancers are going to compete in St Louis & then 3 in the Greater Chicagoland area. To end the dancing season the team will be going to Nationals in Tennessee to compete June 29th through July 5th, 2025.

Our dancers need your help raising funds for travel, costumes, shoes, convention and competition fees. Please consider a donation to the Artistic Pursuit Dance Company.
