A Humble Plea
Story
In Shadows cast by dreams unmet, I find myself, a soul in debt. Not skilled in art of begging, no, But here I stand, with heart aglow.
With trembling hands and hopeful heart, I seek your kindness to play a part. For life’s cruel tide has pulled me low, And I am but a seed to sow.
Every little bit counts, a truth I know, A drop in the ocean can make rivers flow. I offer naught but words in rhyme, A fleeting gift, a moments time.
This poem, birthed from the depths of care, Is all I have, my soul laid bare. I’m not a master of the plea, Nor woven tales of woe to see.
Just one who longs for brighter days, A chance to rise, to find new ways. If you could find it in your heart, To lend a hand, to play a part,
I’d weave my gratitude in verse, And turn my fate from dire to terse. So here I stand, with open plea, A humble voice, a dreamers key.
In exchange for hope, this gift I share, A poem, a wish, a Heartfelt prayer. For every little bit, a spark of light, Can guide me through the longest night.
Whatever you can do. THANK YOU!
